V15V SAS or M97xE SAS

At present I am using a Shure V15V with JICO SAS stylus which needs replacing. I have an unused M97xE cartridge, do I get a new stylus for the V15V or an SAS for the M97xE. The arm in use is an SME Series V. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Pretty much the same money for either stylus.....the 97xE is no where near the body the V15V is.

I've been looking at available stylus for my V15typeV cart for some time.
The stylus choicies are quite limited
These are the choices that seem to be available. Ranging from $160-$200.
VN5MR
VN5MR SAS
VN5MR SAS/AKAZONAE
VN5MR SAS/YATAGARASU

I'm planning to purchase the VN5MR SAS.
The lacquer versions seem interesting. Any feedback on these?
Thanx. .....graham

The V15 Type V has the advantage of laminated pole pieces in the body, which apparently reduce eddy currents and give a flatter high frequency response. The M97xE doesn’t have them, so an SAS stylus on the V15 Type V will give slightly superior performance to an SAS on an M97xE.
