Value of a Teledyne AR TT?

Hello all,
I've stumbled across a Teledyne Acoustic Research AR TT turntable with Grado cartridge. Date stamp of Nov.4,1983. I'm not sure if this is an original tone arm or if this table even came with one(?). Because of the record clamp, the owner thought she had a JA Mitchell tt worth thousands and won't give a price untill she does more misguided research.
Unable to plug up and test drive but the table looks fantastic. Very "thick" dust cover also great condition. I didn't see a name/id on the tone arm.
What is fair value of this tt and can anyone id the tone arm?

Tonearm is Grace 707.
AR “The Turntable” was, AFIR the latest and greatest of their TT’s made in mid 80-is and you could get with or without tonearm. There are people who really like AR TTs and consider this one the best. You might want to check more on Turntable forum.
As for value, consider checking completed sales on ebay

I had an AR turntable made when AR was part of Teledyne, I believe in the late 1980s. It was good, well-regarded and well-reviewed. That is the turntable Sam Tellig raved about in Stereophile. I modified mine with Plasticlay, a new armboard and an SME arm; it was easy to work on. I eventually upgraded to a SOTA but the AR is a good table.

I agree with moinau, start your research at Vinyl Nirvana. From that site:
