Valve Phono Stage

Hi, I sent Earl a email asking his thoughts on the budgie, and if it is a good match for The Troubadour 6L6 Integrated amp that he is making for me, this is his response, "Looks good, but not enough gain for the Troubadour.
You will need a phono stage with 700mV to 1000mV output.
This one only has 200mv. And that's with 5mV input, some MM carts only output 2mV" Cheers, Earl. Thanks. Groovetube.
