As anounced a week or so ago, Van Halen are holded up at Edwards studio 5150, And according to Warner exec's (Who BTW, Dropped the band in 04), Guitar tracks for 5 songs are done, And VH1's "That Metal Show" With Steve Vai, And George Lynch as guests, And both close to Eddie, Confirm the album will be a return to a more guitar influenced effort, ala "Van Halen". That would be tough to top, But guess we'll see. Musically, There's no doubt the man can play, Song lryics would be my concern, And Diamond Daves vocals. Anything can be done in the studio I guess. A title for the record was leaked back in 07 "Encore". Not sure if this will still stick. For those who have been on mars, Michael Anthony is out on bass, Ed's kid, Wolfgang is in. With DLR on vocals, And Alex Van Halen on drums. This will be the first new music from VH, Since 1998's VH3, And the first with DLR since 1984, In 1984. Along friggin time to wait. Will stay on top of this, And keep the info comin. I don't see an implosion for this one.
