Vectuer cable - speaker? Interconnect?

Got this cable with craigslist haul several years ago - was told that it was speaker wire. Now I'm trying to find more information on it.

No part number. Braided shielding. Appears to be four solid insulated conductors.

The shielding makes me think it's actually interconnect cable. It also seems fairly small gauge for speaker wire. Each of the two twisted conductors appears to be 20 AWG for an equivalent cross section of 16 or 17 AWG.

Can anybody tell me what I've got here?

They look like decent solid core cables.
I think what might be a little different is actually seeing the braiding through the clear outer jacket. I'm not sure if they are/were interconnects or not. Or if other speaker cables have braiding.
