Very Good Aiming Ability

I tried that. I even went so far as to use a rope and pully to try to pull the tree the way that i wanted it to go.
What happened? The tree fell 90º to the right, and fell over the top of Sarges favorite grapefruit tree.
So, now I had this teeter-tottering tree hanging over the top of another tree, and Sarge yipping at me to get the big tree off of her tree.

That was some tree cutting there! I too, felled a tree and it got lodged into another tree. Ended up having to cut down both of them. Thank goodness I was using them for firewood. :D

Dayum! Would not have tried that. Now it WAS a very straight tree with a narrow and symmetrical top so fairly easy to drop where you wanted, but...no, I would still not try that.

I hope they made lumber out of it, nice hunka pine. :thmbsp:

Reminds me of how our pioneers cleared sub-tropical rainforest to make way for dairy country. They would start at the ridge line and then make strategic cuts in the tree trunks sloping down from the ridge. They would then fall trees from the top of the ridge in the hope of achieving a domino effect down the slope.
