That is a lovely Kenwood turntable in spectacular condition. $562 including shipping for a 30+ year old turntable is a premium price, though. An equally fine turntable with a excellent arm, and a track record of good performance is the Technics SL1200MK2PK-BLACK, which can be purchased for around $450 plus shipping new. The Kenwood still has a couple of days. Someone may snag it.

I don't know of anyone that has done a head-to-head comparison of the two. If you have, I'd love to hear your findings.

Personally, I have heard a Sansui SR-929 and a Kenwood KD-750, and to me the Kenny was the clear winner.

BTW, I paid $600 for my table.

she sure is a beauty mf!! I'd love to do a head to head battle with your KD-750, or my KD-650, against them new fan-dangled ones costing $1500+ ! :)

Beautiful turntable there but for that price I'd go with a new Technics SL-1200.

Looks like he has a Realistic/Shure RXT-4 cartridge on this.

I like the Kenwood very much, but as jdandy mentioned, the price of $500 puts it above a new Technics SL-1200 MK2PK direct drive turntable. I would opt for the new Technics.

Yep, somebody bought her with BIN. She IS a looker. I hope it was an AK'r so we can hear how she runs.
