Very Rare Advent Utility Speakers - Milwaukee

Does anybody know the history on this switch? I've owned and seen a LOT of Advent speakers. Never encountered a pair with a tweet switch. Very reminiscent of the switches in KLH speakers (e.g. KLH 6, 17, etc). Perhaps Henry Kloss copied his KLH design in the very first Advents?

Specifically which Advents have you seen without the tweeter switch?

The High Frequency Control switch is part of the OLA and NLA crossover. Check out the OLA and NLA crossover circuits at http://baselaudiolab.com/ADVENT_LA_XO.html They both have the switch. There is nothing rare about it.

Both my original Large Advent OLA and my new Large Advent (NLA) have the switch. My Advent/1 does not have the switch. My newer Advents don't have the switch (Legacy II and Baby III).
