Vibrapod marks

Hi group,
I'm considering getting Vibrapods to minimize vibration to my system...but in researching these, I see they leave marks on whatever they're sitting on.

Not too thrilled about that, given I have nice-looking maple racks for my components; also not too thrilled about putting coasters or whatever underneath the Vibrapods.

Are there other vibration control devices that don't leave marks, don't require things put underneath them....that work just as well?

Interested in your thoughts; appreciate it.

sheets of Sorbothane, 1/2 inch thick cut into 2 inch squares from McMaster Carr work as well as any high priced pre made items.

I cut up a thin mousepad to put under the sorbothane/vibrapod things. I did a bad thing to a nice cabinet before figuring this out.

Hi Tudor,
I decided to go with component feet from Herbie's Audio Lab; the don't "harm" what they're sitting on, and they do a nice job with vibration. I have several sets installed, and I've heard a nice difference with my HT set-up. Got one more set of "Tenderfeet" coming tomorrow.

I put Vibropods and cones under my CD player, in a cabinet that I built. Oak-veneer cabinet-grade veneer-core plywood, polyurethane finish, four coats, and some carnauba wax, and no marks on the shelf.

I place Vibrapods on a pad cut from a cork sheet.

I put a plastic bag onto a sorbothane pad and cut around it to keep gem from sticking or staining.
