Recently I was able to get my hands on the Humongous Victor M-L10 power amplifier. The seller has mentioned that its in quite a bad shape and I can't agree more.

As soon as I got back home, I took my meter and probed the unit. It was outputting at least 200mv of DC so then I took it up to my bench and start checking on the bias and the DC offset. As soon as I turned the unit on, the amp was not able to get out of the protection. Narrowing down it is the main board solder joints being dull and cracked. Thanks to my friend, he said that the cold solder joints can send the amp into oscillation and the amp protection mode is trigged. After painful hours of reflowing the joints, the amp is up and running again.

Not long after, I decided that its time to restore the amp as best as I could. Thanks to the part list available online, I was able to get the parts ordered.
This is one of the few daughter boards connected to the main board, the board has been washed clean.

With the new capacitors installed, only the best for the M-L10 Nichicon UPW and UPM installed.
