Vintage Altec Lansing Valencia Mystery crossover

Hello all and seasons greetings!!
I have been a Altec Lansing and JBL fan for many years. I've had and seen many types of Altec and JBL crossover types. I've never seen this one before.
I am guessing these were made in the last 50's or early 60's.There are not names on them anywhere.
The only markings I see are for input and speaker output.
The crossover is anywhere between 8 and 10 lb.each.

Not the first time we have seen this crossover/speaker. But, to the best of my knowledge it has never been identified as it's fully potted in pitch or epoxy?

I'd be careful about calling them a Valencia as they are not. Certainly, the raw drivers are Altec, and the same drivers used in the 846A Valencia, and several other Altec models. But, the Altec bus stops there.

I'm starting to think the speakers may have been the product of a larger audio dealer, or one they commissioned somebody to build the cabinets for.

Interesting that the OP's cabinets are period correct plywood while the cabinets i posted the link to are MDF/particle. Ports located on the opposite side are also curious.

Thanks bowtie427! You are correct in your observation. These are not Valencia's. They somewhat resemble a Barzilay cabinet with no badge. These have early drivers. A 803B and a 804A. The one and only vent is placed to the bottom left and right of each woofer. Looks like too much insulation in them.
I've seen a lot of the vintage Speakers with much less.
