Vintage Audio T-Shirts

Coastsider

Curmudgeon
Yesterday while sorting through a closet full of T-shirts collected over a thirty-five year span of time I came across a couple of familiar audio related numbers shown in the attached photos.

The Peaches Records T is I guess fairly common but still notable while the University Stereo shirt, which I'm sure I got at the house in North Hollywood, CA that if memory serves me was their first store, might be something of a rarer object when it comes to audio memorabilia/esoterica.

On a somewhat unrelated note I also came across my old collection of Monster Co/Kelley/Mouse Studios T's some of which I am told may be worth some $$$$, and a Theta Cable/Z Channel shirt which was from the original L.A. area movie channel predating HBO, Cinemax, and the rest. I included a photo of that as well just for good measure.

Anybody got any T-shirts or otherwise interesting vintage audio related memorabilia they want to share?

Peaches Records

I wouldn't mind having a few of those crates they used to sell. I don't recall ever having bought any and can't for the life of me remember where the store was that I used to frequent although I seem to want to place it where Tower Records most famous location is (was?) on the Sunset Strip.

Anybody remember where Peaches Records was in L.A.?

Dang, and all those T-shirts I used to get from the sales reps back then. Most of mine got used to change oil in the car on Saturdays......

Nice to see some old threads again. Thanks!

Cheers,

David

Here's a couple.

I used to have a cool Tandberg shirt, but it didn't do so well after some wisdom tooth removal surgery.

I had a cool Resistance Repair long sleeve sweatshirt, but I can't find that one.

The one I wish I had was from a Stereo place in Berkeley called "Puds". They had a grimey character that looks like he was drawn by the illustrator that inked the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. Half a cigar hanging out of the side of his mouth. I didn't even find any copies on Google Images.
Wish I had that one.
