Just got an old Sony ST 5055 FM tuner (its sick looking by the way)... here is what the back looks like. How do I hook up a regular dipole FM antenna to this? Why are there two ohm hookups? Does it share the ground? Can I make a mini antenna from some old speaker wire, if so, what dimensions?

Dipole antennas are typically 300 ohms. Some antennas use 75 ohm coax cable. If you had a 75 ohm antenna you canuse a old school 75-300 ohm matching transformer and connect the anttena to the 300 ohm terminals

you can probably still get a 75/300 ohm "balun" (balanced-unbalanced matching transformer) from a brick-and-mortar Radio Shack. If not; PM me and I can mail you one (if you're in the US).
