Im currently in Prague (from US) and hoping to return with some interesting / unique / or at least cheaper additions to my audio setups. Right now I run basic but nice Pioneer / Technics vintage decks (one DD, one BD) - AT120 & AT130 Carts - and vintage Pioneer SA 1000 (new amp is Yamaha Aventage). Running through new speakers (infinity Primus 363s)
I am looking for brand / model , or even more general brand recs, to look for while I am here exploring. I think I could allocate about $500 to one (or a couple) improvements - - a little more for a great piece.
Types of items Im mainly looking for - turntable (I would love Thorens / Dual / or similar quality piece, )speakers would be great (but I could only realistically get bookshelfs back to US) , one or two carts I could change into my current setup , another (or better) amp. Recs for vintage (or even current) headphones - or really anything audio that is unique or cheaper here - would be excellent. TIA
