Vintage Headphones

Hello, I have been wondering about this for a while:
There is this type of Headphones that I always see musicians/bands from the 1970's wearing.

I have been trying to find the Brand and model of these headphones for a very long time.
They are white and fully encircle the ear, and they sort of look like what a pilot from the 70's would wear as well.

Roger Waters from Pink Floyd wore these headphones on-stage during
"The Wall" tour.


Anyways, I just saw the Queen video "Somebody To Love" and they were all wearing the type of Headphones that I have been searching for.



If you go onto YouTube and look for the original video from '76-'77, you will see the headphones many times and very clearly.



Can somebody tell me what make and model these are?


That would be super-awesome!
I can't find them for sale or information about them anywhere!

Don't know if Roger wore these but Pioneer made a series of headphones with white cups.

SE-50's SE-30's SE-20's a decent can for their day.
 
get Koss ESP-9's.

Odds are they'll sound better than anything dynamic from that era...

Yeah, that's pretty much what I am looking for except with the square ear-cup.


It's strange, I see so many famous bands from that era but I cannot find those headphones at all. Not one.



I just saw a pair of Sansui Headphones in White with the square cups but it was kinda small.





If anybody knows these headphones, I'd gladly appreciate the help:thmbsp:

They are the Beyerdynamic DT100, I think. There is the DT150 which pretty much looks identical but is in black. Both are still currently in production.

I still have 6 sets of ESP-9s (I'm the original owner).
They are a bit heavy, but with the right pre / power amp, their sound is seductive.
