Anyone listen to Vintage headphones? 70's? I am currently listening to a set of Kenwood KH-71's

DR-7's Sony some Today.Some date them to the 90's but I have found some mentioned as 70's so who know?I also have some R/S Phones from the 70's can't recall the model

Koss Pro4AAA. I have had them forever. My cousin told me if you cannot afford a good set of speakers, buy a good set of headphones, so I did.

That's what I use mostly. I have three sets of Radio Shack Koss and a set of Sansui with volume and tone controls on each side.

Same here. The original Pro4AAA. Bought new in 1979? Replaced ear cushions about 5 years ago.

Once had a pair of Koss HV1/LC's I used for speakers and fried one side. :tears:
Returned for the Pro4AAA's. I always wished I still had the HV1/LC's.

I stumbled upon a pair of Yamaha HP-2's that I use at times. Nice light weight pair of cans.

Sennheiser HD-414s, bass rolloff is a bit aggressive for modern music but very listenable with a nice soundstage. Packaging art is hilariously tacky

Yamaha HP-1's I bought new in '76 for the princely sum of $200. I've modified them with sealing and dampening and re-cabled them with Mogami mic cable. I listen to them every day at work.

For more demanding music I own some modern AKGs...

I've been using a pair of Mura headphones (made in Korea), I think from the 70's, but might be early 80's. They still sound good after all these years. I like having the volume control on each earpiece. It also has a stereo/mono switch, and some kind of spacializer function/switch (I forget what it's called exactly) that I generally turn on, as it seems to broaden the sound field. Been using them with my MP3 players.
