vintage horn loaded speakers for small space?

A Forte would be about the same size as the stacked pair of Advents but would be much more efficient and tube friendly.
 
Patricians are quite a bit bigger than Cornwalls, which, by your assessment are huge.

...or am I simply missing the irony?
 
EV Patrician - I haven't heard 'em but by all accounts a very nice speaker...but headed from large to huge category. Being corner speakers does help (if you have two good corners) but then again a Cornwall can live in a corner or against a wall (hence the name) and is smaller.
Of course, if we don't care about room size the Altecs are nice...as are Jensen Imperials...Tannoy Autographs...MauHorns, etc....
