The woofers definitely need help and i have had both and i prefer the inline l100 to the newer side by side tweeter and mid...

It had looked like someone sprayed "Armour All" on these, as an attempt too make them look better ???? I don't think it looked all that great myself...Although they did sell :dunno:
 
Yuck, "wet look" on all 3 drivers. And from the looks of the pics, the cabinets and his table look "wet" too.

This is probably useful for drivers in cars and such but I'm pretty confident adding mass and unknown stiffness, damping or resonance creating material to a cone will throw its response all off.

Besides, the JBL 123A with the Aquaplas cone is just about impervious to all environmental factors except finger pokes and foot kicks.
