Vintage Jensen Field coil and why people are bidding on it.

I know nothing of field coils or ortho dynamic such and such.

I am very curious as to why the bid is over $300.

Is it historical value or, when restored, will this thing sound $300 + ?

I believe this was on TAS's list of the 10 most important speakers of all time, but I might be mistaken
