I just came into possession of a complete older Onkyo setup, and know NADA about it...other than everything works! Any info on it would be GREATLY appreciated.

All components are Onkyo:

CF-1140F turntable, DX C300 CD player, T-4000 tuner, TA RW-200 double cassette player, EQ-240 equalizer, P-3200 preamp, M-5200 amp and a pair of Fusion S-51 12" 4 way tower speakers

why pics?? I didnt ask for you to ID the components or the system, I asked for specs, considering I gave you the make/model of the components.

Yes, here's a run down from what I have. Where I don't have the specific model (preamp and power amp), I've used the closest equivalent.

TA-RW400 wow and flutter 0.07%; frequency response: 20 Hz - 17 kHz (metal tape), 20 - 16 kHz (high bias tape), 20-15 kHz (normal tapes); S/N ratio (Dolby NR off, 58 dB

SQ-240 center frequencies (Hz): 64, 160, 400, 1k, 2.5k, 6.3k, 16k; adjustment +/- 12 dB; THD 0.01%; frequency response (sliders centered): 10 Hz- 35 kHz, +0, -0.5%; max input 5V, 20 Hz- 20 kHz, 0.05% THD

For the turntable, I have no idea what's closest, so I can't comment.

THANK YOU BOLD EAGLE!! I really appreciate all the info! I finally decided to sell my Cerwin Vega M-100's, and use a pair of the Onkyo S-51's with my setup in the family room, and moved my fathers setup with a pair of the S-51's into my office/man cave. Both sound pretty good, though my father's setup is a MITE overpowering for the office....LOL!

What is funny as hell, as I posted this question to several other audio forums (I cut and pasted my initial question just like I posted it here), and all I got for responses was "this sucks without pictures", or "we can't answer anything without pictures"...which just boggles my mind, as I didnt think my question was that hard (I didnt ask anybody to identify the gear, just asked for specs), and you guys proved (well, Bold Eagle did...LOL) that this IS the best online audio forum out there!

I am ONLY recommending this forum to anybody who asks from now on!! You guys are the BEST!!

Hmm ohh well, I suppose it's just nice gesture to present some pics about the gear. When I first started with AK I felt that the pics also helped "bond" with the people that I was asking to help me, in any case I believe we "AK" have the best group of not only knowledgeable members, but also those who are upstanding indivduals that go above and beyond. My experience is golden here and I feel will always be :D
 
Pictures also help identify gear. Japanese gear sometimes uses different model numbers for different markets.
I would chalk it up to a lack of research into model numbers. Not a big deal, and the OP seems to have gotten a rather nice rig.
 
Posting pics is just the polite thing to do. Especially when you are asking people to take there time to look up info. Even more so when you "cut and paste" the request on every audio board you can find. People are much more likely to help you out when they can see the gear in question. My favorite part of this form is seeing the great pieces people find, not reading a model number and imagining what it looks like. It's a lot like women and cars, I appreciate seeing what they look like. Just reading their names just doesn't do it for me.
 
The OP just needed to spend a little time on Google. All he got was specs and no info on the TT. Maybe a picture of the TT would have helped.
