Attached is a photo of two phono stages from early solid state integrated amplifiers.
Without revealing the brand and model (and the assumptions of 'house sound') do the schematics allude to a particular tonality?
Since I am not an electrical engineer it's difficult for me to decipher topology and its respective sonic merits. For those who have such knowledge, is one of the two a better design?
A shows both the left and right channels on a single board.
B has a separate board for each channel.
Assuming all components are new and in spec is there a preference based on the schematics displayed?
Looking forward to your answers.
Thanks!
