The seller says he got tired of the "petty rules" on the auction site. The price seems low, but that statement is a red flag in my book.

Actually, I picked that one up today. He explained the eBay sitaution, I just shook my head yes, and bought the reciever for $20.00. It's in good shape. not museum condition, but I'll get it cleaned up and try and locate a new faceplate and it will be a great little reciever.

Just some nicks and scratches. If I could find a nicer face, the 450 would be near mint condition.

Agreed. I just like my gear to look as new as possible, so I figured I'd try and locate a nicer face plate. The inside was very clean. I also bought a pair of near mint sansui sp 1700's he had for $30.00. I know the sans are nothing special, but that 450 hooked up to the sans actually sounded half way decent. Not bad for a $50.00 setup.
