There is an STA 2300 that was TOTL also STA 2100-2300 sets were made by Foster electronics in Japan
.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Realistic-S...88?pt=US_Stereo_Receivers&hash=item51b10569dc No affil.

The STA 2000,2000D / 2100,2100D and 2300 were the best TOTL of the Realistics and reasonably comparable to the equivelant big name sets Foster also made the Stereo Techs for McIntosh and some of the Concept receivers
The STA 2000 's / 2100's/2300's went for 6-800 or so they were TOTL. the 2100D is a favorite but all the 2100/2300's were pretty good and probably low hanging fruit (price wise yet very capable ) as compared to Similar Pioneers etc.

I didn't realize the 2000 was that high up the ladder. Just might have to dust off the one that arrived here a month ago. I haven't even bothered to plug it in yet.

yea i got some nice realistics on my watch list gonna research today,i just have to be patient (which is terribly hard i am ready to bite into something)

I love my STA-2000.
My current combo of an STA-2000 and lab-500 playing through a pair of Nova 7b speakers sounds AWESOME!!!

Im uber cheap, so I held out for almost a year trying to find the cheapest STA-2000 possible.
Settled for one off if eBay that I got for $90 shipped.
It was a gamble as the listing had few pictures and very little description.
Worked out though ended up with a receiver that's probably 7/10 visually but functions beautifully.

But I am a totally biased Realistic super fan!

Good luck!

Ben

do not pass judgement on the power or performance the STA's deliver. they are very under the radar value wise, considering what other other similar brands sell for.

there you go polypet,,me too looks are second to sound and mechanical condition.it is gonna take a wile maybe, just dends on a offer being accepted or bidders sleeping on a auction, i will list some of my watched stuf in a wile.

My STA-2000D has always performed great. Nice styling and excellent tuner section. Maybe the best $10 I ever spent!

Makes me even happier with my $12 STA-2100 that's for sure. Man I need to get it fixed and decide if I love it or not.
