Vintage receiver please help identify

It's 1975 - I am hanging out in my bedroom listening to some (little did I know) classic rock eight track tapes on a realistic eight track player hooked up to my first ever receiver - and I'd sure like to remember what it was - can anyone help identify? I do know my next receiver was a fabulous (IMHO) Technics SA 505 I bought in 1980 with cash at J&R music world in NYC thanks to Rob my college roommate from jersey - and I have recently re-purchased one for old time sake (and an SA 401 and SA 303 - dont ask) and I sure would like to know what this one is - any help is greatly appreciated! Sorry for the low quality photo but I know someone out there recognizes this unit! Thanks again in advance for your help

Good catch - the photo is an iPhone picture of a slide ( projected onto a sheet) from my dads slide collection - so not the best quality but all I have. Some additional information - I remember meters to the left and underneath the meters were toggle switches - it also had a lengthwise handle making it somewhat portable. So, six knobs plus a tuning knob and 4 toggle switches. Again I appreciate any and all help!

It was a hand me down from my Dad, and it easily could have been Montgomery Ward or Emerson or Sylvania or Admiral or even Panasonic, but surely not LLoyds or Soundesign (although a SD all in 1 was in the house - sis). It was a great unit for me at 13: fairly loud, lit up nicely, well made with substantial feel - and all mine! It sat right next to my Royce CB base station - bought at penn jersey auto in the north end shopping center - Pottstown PA. But no idea where the receiver was purchased. I've searched "suitcase vintage receivers" and some cool things pop up but nothing like mine. May have come with speakers but cant remember... Thanks again to all who take into time to read this and perhaps even reply!

No it's not the original but it's the best I've got for now - and it almost looks like I can turn it on and relive 1975, thank you for that photo shopping - great job! I'm going to get my dads slides out this weekend and grab a better scan of the original, but until then maybe this will help, thanks again - and any ideas?

OK this is the best possible resolution I can produce on my end from March 1978 to be exact - first to identify this vintage receiver gets all the money in my pocket right now! Thanks again

Maybe, but I've spent hours on eBay and online searching different brands of vintage stereos or vintage receivers (Sanyo Sony Sharp Sylvania Panasonic quadraflex MCS realistic fisher HK Montgomery Ward Sears akai Lafayette onkyo Sherwood Yamaha Sony Sansui Marantz pioneer technics Yamaha Nikko allied Zenith JVC) and can't find anything that has toggles on the left and six knobs plus a tuning knob and then a handle. Maybe this thing is an anomaly and a crazy one off but I'm hoping someone out there can help identify this thing. Thanks again for looking and if anyone has any other suggestions or ideas please put them out there

Logo on the left top reminds me of Philips. Looks like a lettered name and then some kind of crest beneath it.

Maybe that can narrow it down for somebody more familiar with that era's stuff...I've Google imaged everything I can think of with no luck.

Yay, I'm rich! Something about the receiver said "Concord" to me, and a bit of browsing came up with model HES-35.

Don't know how much that will help if you're trying to find info about it. Perhaps unlike me, you'll have the patience to view the YouTube video. And there was at least one on ebay, at some time, at some place in the world, so maybe there's hope of acquiring one if you care to.

Just watched the almost 10 minute YouTube video - the guy was either stoned or just unconsciously hilarious. Comments were helpful - apparently the one I have is the portable version of the HES 35 with handle called the Concord F 600. Probably from about 1971 rebadged national / Panasonic made by Matsushita, Concord later purchased by HK. And yes mine also had a cassette player on the top built-in which I almost forgot about! Music cars and audio equipment from the 70s - what great memories
