If that is a WE lineman set, $15 is a ridiculous deal. I've never seen one in brass, they are usually nickel-plated. Further, the all metal ones go back to the earliest days of national telephony, the 1920's! By the 1930' they had dials and were bakelite. It is amazing how quickly the technology moved. Further, it is interesting how early the lineman handsets were 1-piece yet the 2-piece phones were still commonplace for another decade in homes.

Agreed, those aligator clips alone are worth the 15 bucks IMO.
