Vintage Toshiba speaker help needed.

I was given a pair of Toshiba model ss50 2 way floor speakers. I am in search of some history/knowledge about them. I have tried Google and nothing. Since they are not an expensive top name brand could it be they just are not worth reviewing or selling so that is why I couldn't find any info? Thanks in advance for any input or knowledge about them.

No knowledge of them I'm afraid, but Toshiba were not known for their speakers (or any HiFi components for that matter) of note. They did have a premium line which I believe was similar to Sharp's Optonica line.

Ultimately, if they sound good to you, they are good speakers What amp and sources are you going to use with them ? Can you give us some pictures ??

Toshiba made a series of SS-xx loudspeakers,from SS-17 to SS-3600.Anything that comes close?

I have some Toshiba SS330W in my most used system.They have pushed many a pair of well regarded speakers out.In fact I think if I can only keep one set it would be my Toshiba's.A matter of preference for me.
