Vinyl only spin list

Just got this through, had never heard of it before and several people had fairly recent reviews of how exceptional it still is 30 years later. It's a 1993 tribal chill out comp, only 1000 made at the time, double disk, just a generic sleeve.

I'm amazed actually how ahead of it's time this stuff is, occasionally you get some reminiscance of the older Detroit House vibes, but in the main, this is a really atmospheric and layered record. Very pleased to pick it up.

@Cactus Bob Park West! I saw many excellent shows there from Devo to Herbie Hancock to Tom Waits to Manhattan Transfer. Is it even around anymore?

The Park West is still there . . . I lived down the street at Lincoln & Diversey just five blocks away from 1961-2000 and we used to walk to shows there ever since they opened in '77 and saw many shows there from King Crimson to Miles Davis, Weather Report, McLaughlin, Corea and on. I used to slip the maître d' a $20 bill and he would get me a front row booth. It was a great neighborhood back then.
