The early Living Stereo era recordings really are special, and prized by many as a result. That looks like a nice one, a great piece of music done by a top tier orchestra under the baton of an excellent conductor.

These RCA Living Stereo Lp's sure clean up really nice. This one sounds really nice, cleaned up well. Most of my Living Stereo albums are classical, I have them separated from the rest. Was surprised to see a Miracle Surface sticker on the cover, that's the only one I have.

Both albums purchased several years ago at an estate sale for a neighbor who lived just down the block from us. I grabbed several albums, mostly RCA Living Stereos, but never really listened to them after the first couple because of their condition. Out of curiosity, I played these two for the first time tonight and was most pleased to discover that Breakfast At Tiffany's was in excellent condition even if the cover wasn't nearly so clean. The Beecham album, while not quite so nice in terms of condition, still was very good overall.

The departed soul had an unusual filing/storage system for his albums. He would punch the left side of the LP cover and install grommets to mount the covers/records on some sort of rails that would allow one to easily flip through the collection. There was some sort of numbering system involved as well, since some of the albums I bought also have numbered stickers on them.
