Vinyl only spin list

Sam The Sham and The Pharoahs - On Tour
(1966, MGM)

Ring Dang Doo and (My Gal Is) Red Hot on the same LP, makes it worth the spin even if the rest isn't very interesting. They get that nice mid-60s studio treatment.

Wooooaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!! Long time Oregon fan and very fond of Coryell's stuff as well.

 :thmbsp: great stuff!

Humble Pie - Thunderbox
(1974, A&M)

Cool cover design by Hipgnosis - original pressing has an opening to the inner cover, apparently that was censored/cleaned for this later pressing. Some basic R&B influenced rock here, turn it up.

Frank Sinatra / Sinatra's Swingin' Session
1961 Capitol Records

Had that in my hand at the record store today. Looks like I need to go back. It had the keyhole opening.

Nice. I've read that some HP fans consider this to be one of the best because of the back to the basics. I like the earlier Pie with Frampton. Not real creative lyrics but it thumps. Steve Marriot's vocals are different.

I must say, I'd like a closer look at that. ;)

The "backside" of the inner cover is. :D

The United States Marine Band, Lieutenant Colonel Jon, R. Bourgeois Conducting
Wagner

This 2 LP set is a "not for sale" item with no record label or number indicated. Recording date presumed to be 1982 due to the 1982 band roster included in the liner notes. I paid $0.50 for it at a Friends Of The Library weekend book/record sale in the mid 80's.

Ahhhh, time to wallow in The Golden Road. I found this copy at an estate sale a couple of years ago.
dead-icating Cold Rain And Snow to folks dealing with too much ice and snow back east.

My first GD, purchased immediately after my last day of school my sophomore year in HS not long after it was released. First reaction was ?!?!?!????. It took about two weeks of listening to start to get it. Comprehension began with Morning Dew and was completed with Viola Lee Blues.
