Vinyl only spin list

[Scuzzer]

OK, now you're just reminding me how pathetic my vinyl collection is. I obviously don't have that one either.

Camel ~ Mirage

1974

Chess/Janus Records

How is the Camel? I've seen a few at the local record shop but I've always ended up buying something else. Any in particular I should look for?

I'd say go ahead and pick up "Mirage" next time you see it.

Is this thread for records that were never released on CD?

[Scuzzer]

Nope, it's a "what's spinning" thread limited to vinyl. If you've got it on vinyl and you're listening to it feel free to post the title.

Well, Zappa's Were Only In It For The Money.
Nelson Riddle's The Tender Touch.

Pretty big opposites.

THE BORDER
Ry Cooder

MCA

pm what do you use the loop for?

[spartanmanor]

I found this one at the thrift store yesterday, clear vinyl. I have no idea who the group is as it is a Russian pressing. I got it for the novelty but the group is very cool. Sort of a Tangerine Dream sound. This record also allows one to see how a RCM works. I could see the liquid wash being sucked away on the vac. :thmbsp:

[meggy]

King Crimson / In The Court Of The Crimson King

[BroonsBane]

The Beatles ~ Abbey Road

[cfranz]

Kind'a a weird night:

Mike Oldfield - Ommadawn (a blast from the wife's past)
Synergy - Metropolitan (random album I was cleaning)
Art Garfunkel - Angel Claire (I think, again, just happen to be cleaning)

[KeninDC]

King Crimson / In The Court Of The Crimson King

You play this at last once a week, right?

In fact, your enthusiasm for this LP has me hunting down an orignal "EG" pressing.

How did I miss this thread?

Hopefully you have been to busy enjoying the music.

Hopefully you have been to busy enjoying the music.

True.

I've been keeping the computer off on weekends, too.

pm what do you use the loop for?

Reading liner notes when my eyes get dry. Sometimes.

It was there because I was inspecting the grooves of an LP. I have a migratory possession system... things migrate someplace and stay there until the next migratory season.

[zenith2134]

Mamas & Papas - California Dreamin'

Zeppelin- Houses of the Holy

Mike and the Mechanics - Silent Running

Of course, I originally used the loupe for reading contact sheets. It's also good for counting threads in needlepoint linen to see if it's suitable for use as AR and Advent grill cloth.
