Vinyl to tape with DBX processors

Pretty much the last thing you would want to do is increase the dynamic range of a signal about to be recorded on a cassette. Don’t mess with the 3bx until the final playback stage. And then be judicious with the amount of expansion. And yes, I record with dbx (NX40) and play records and tapes back with a 3bx.
