Vinyldavid on the news in next few minutes?

You can watch tonight's airing of The Evening News on cbsnews.com

I couldn't find the segment by jumping around, so I will post the time stamp when I get to it.

I guess it wasn't on there. Strange. It says Vinyl Makes a Comeback on the caption, maybe I just missed it while preoccupied.

I'm pretty sure it is just missing from the video and there is no link directly to it like the other segments. wtf?

Twiddling my thumbs, waiting for a YouTube posting. CBS evening news used to be shown on TV here in the mornings, but not any more. Anyway, congratulations David. Just don't let it go to your head, okay? :D

Hey, vinyldave, have you achieved celebrity status at your school yet? Maybe they will have a Vinyldave day for you!

Tomorrow the tape goes to my school, where I can put it into iMovie and then wherever.....and also for the viewing pleasure of my fellow peers :D

Hey vinyldavid, congrats! :thmbsp: I'm also hoping that with the popularity of vinyl, that prices will drop. Man, $25 for a new LP? :tears: Also looking forward to the youtube upload!

When are prices supposed to go up? At my shop (newer) stuff is $9.99 - $14.99. Picked up Stadium Arcadium new for $29.99. I hope the prices don't shoot up!

Ditto on the congrats, vinyldavid!

Saw it on the news last night...vinyl's comeback is old news to all of us, but I'm glad it's been aired for others that aren't in-the-know to realize they should have kept their LP collections afterall.

Oh well, their loss is our gain!

Wonder how long it will be until these new $25 pressings will become $5 cutouts? :scratch2:

 While this "new" craze will pick up many who will remain into vinyl, I have to believe it will generate more who will get bored with it.

I think the people at my local thrift shop saw this on the news and decided to get froggy with their prices...... from 25 cents to 50 cents today.... bastards! Somebody unloaded their Fripp and King Crimson collection, so I suck it up and pay the premium, 6 bucks right there for 12 records!!!!!!!!!!...

The old lady at the thrift store counter even mentioned hearing something on the news this morning about old rekkids!!!

Then off to goodwill, with there "new" 1 dollar and up pile... (ok no motovani or jim neighbors in this stinking pile) low and behold, amoung the must..... I found a close to NM copy of an old favorite, Willie's Stardust (unbeliavable quiete from the old Columbia, sounds beautiful!!) and Argentian version of Fragile Yes with heavy ringear but shiny vinyl. Havent checked that out yet.

Thanks for the publicity ;^)

David, I am very happy for you and your new found notoriety . However, out of all the great vinyl out there you chose "chariots of fire???? chariot's of fire???????? No wonder they cut you short!!!
