Visonik David 5001i specifications

Hello,

I've acquired some Visonik David 5001i speakers and I'm searching for their specifications. Unfortunately the seller had no documentation on them. Although some general information can be found online (including this forum), I'm at least looking for the frequency response and it's deviation as well as the output sensitivity of the speaker type. And possibly the introduction year.

I found some information (brochure) on other David speakers on mcmullon.com giving me an idea of the abilities of the speakers. The best source of information has been a Bulgarian website:

'Visonik David 5001i Dual Speaker (1pc, Gray, 80W, 4oHm)

Dimensions: 110 x 170 x 100 mm
Bass Speaker: 10cm, Cut: 3.5kHz,
Speaker: 2.3cm /
Weight; 1.8kg Sensitivity: 89 dB SPL,
Impedance: 4oHm, Power: 80 W.
Bandwidth: 85 Hz to 22000 Hz.
'

Can anyone confirm and/or provide the specifications of the speaker type? Or does have anyone has some documentation on them?

Thanks in advance.

Check out the October issue of Audio magazine on the American Radio History site for the approximate year in which they were sold. Every October, Audio published their equipment directory. It may take a few tries to get it right.

You can also use their search engine.

Swechsler, thank for your suggestion. However, I could not find anything on the site. Probably because the speakers are introduced somewhere around 2004, and the history does not include that period.

lpgear.com still seems to sell them, so I have send them an e-mail requesting information. I also send an e-mail to the Bulgarian website. I'll post my results.

Well, the Bulgarian referred me to lpgear.com. However lpgear.com has not responded to my email. I also send an e-mail to audium.com to which visonik.de now redirects. I also got no reply from them. Looks like my search ends here for the time being.
