VMPS Id for bookshelf cheapos

Found a pair of small cabs with no model numbers- anyone know of a way to id these with
info found [see photos]? More of a curiosity than anything e.g. date of mfg..
Also posted in another site which advised posting here...took there advice!

Brian Cheney didn't have many 2-way bookshelf speakers. And Brian used that same Philips tweeter in his earlier bookshelf models. So, maybe this is an early version of the QSO404?

Mighty fine appreciate that. Having never heard of VMPS before this past weekend and then discovering what Mr Cheney's end results were these little

Little speakers are not typically associated with Brian Cheney, and VMPS.
