Von-Schweikert VR 4 jr's opinions?

Anyone hear these speakers before? They look like they would be some really nice sounding speakers.

I thought "von" was supposed to be spelled with small v, you know, von Kluge, von Manstein, von Kluck, von Senger und Etterlin.

I never bought a speaker from a guy who shaved the sides of his head.

I have a pair of speakers he designed in the 90s, Clearfield Continentals, under the Counterpoint umbrella. I have not heard the ones you posted but can assume they will be really an enjoyable speaker if he carried his designs forward, which he should have. When I first got them, I underestimated what they were doing and almost sold them. My wife stopped me and now thay are in play 80% of the time over my Dynaudio 82s.

If they are the ones I've seen on Craigslist (for a couple of months) a pawn shop had them and wanted $2500 for them - they must have put them on ebay after no local sales....
