VPI Turntable Owners Thread

Here is a question for VPI owners. I use a TNT 5 in my main system - I wondered how that still stacks up with the newer tables like the ones mentioned earlier in this thread? I've been very happy with mine
Looking at descriptions and details online and on VPI's site I believe that the tnt5 stacks up probably exceptionally well and to be honest, probably outperforms or equals a lot of vpi's current tables. If you were ever looking to upgrade, my guess is you would be looking at other companies. More than likely you would find a sideways move.

I found it used locally for a very good deal from a hi-fi joint and honestly was not expecting it to make as big a difference in the sound quality as it has. If you've got a VPI table and don't have one it's well worth grabbing used if you can find it.
