I cleaned a new-to-me Sansui SC-5330 cassette deck. Therefore I also removed the face plate.
All worked well after cleaning and testing (without the face plate on).
Including both analog VU meters and their build-in meter lights.
Problem:
After putting back the face plate (it took some doing to get both the VU meters back in place on the face plate), the LEFT VU meter is "dead" and BOTH VU meter LIGHTS are "dead" too.
Music is playing on both channels and the LED VU peak meter is working as well. Therefore I suspect the VU meters wiring or its circuit.
As all was working well before putting back the face plate, I'm thinking (hoping?) for a minor problem. After visual inspection nothing is broken or damaged (I allways try to be very gentle with my Sansui's).
Who can help me solve this?
