I have scored some black Canton GL 260’s from a goodwill in Omaha that look like they have been in somebody’s closet for 40 years. They are the most amazing little speakers I have ever heard. It doesn’t matter how close you get to them the music still sounds like it is between them and I’ve never heard so much air and little details, especially on live recordings.
I am putting them away for a couple months before I use them in a new listening area in a building project I am finishing. The bass is surprisingly good but I am considering mounting them to the wall to try and get as much of it as I can without losing it to vibration.
Wondering if Bratwurst or any of you other Canton
enthusiasts have used the wall mounting brackets that Canton America sells? The center to center of the threaded inserts is 2 1/2”, can’t tell from the picture what the centers are on there brackets and the only response I’m able to get out of them is they don’t make wall brackets for the GL 260’s.
Would appreciate opinions on my theory about wall mounting and help from anyone who has those brackets.
