I think it's the Dodge 1080i

It's a 1953 Chrysler Special 2 Door Coupe. That's one gorgeous car. Designed by Chrysler with body by Ghia, but I see some British design elements in there. Beautiful color choice.

Lol - Grumpy on the grass.

That white 300 is like really nice as is the sorta root beer colored early 50's station wagon with the wire wheels. Great pics, Dave

Ghia & Chrysler had a very fruitful relationship in the '50s...Some of the prettiest postwar cars on either side of the Atlantic came from it. Too bad more of 'em didn't go into production.

Funny...in the left rear quarter-panel you can even see some VW Karman-Ghia...makes sense...the "Ghia-Thing"

Funny you should mention that. Somewhere in the dim recesses of my disturbed mind, I seem to recall that the Karmann-Ghia, which came out in '56, was influenced by some of the Chrysler show cars of the early '50s.. I remember seeing a couple of Chrysler/Ghia showcars from '54 & '55 that about made the T-bird & Corvette look like 10 yr old boys had designed 'em...

This Challenger belonged to a police officer who was killed by a drunk driver several years ago.
He was a moderator on Moparts.com.
I met him at the Mopar Nats. He was a good guy.
Thanks for the cool pics, Grump!!

Lots of nice cars. I'd go for that convertible '61 Cadillac myself. That is one crazy tank motor, it looks like it has 5 rows of cylinders 6? cylinders each.

That's "one" rare Chevelle, if it's the one I've seen it before, it's the Chevelle used by GM for thermal testing in the Arizona desert, what a nice ride!! Great pics Dave!! :yes:

Here's that car at the Modco Tool annual car show;
