Want Ads Issues

I listed a receiver on the want ads, paid for the listing and it is not listed. Anyone know how this want ad section works?

When I go to my want ads, it says I have not paid for the ad, which is not correct.

Anyone else have problems with AK want ads.

It may take a little while, Grumpy needs to approve the ad before it shows up.

Give it a little time.

I think he is using "want ads" as a general term for classifieds, not referring to "wanted" ads - maybe it is an Americanism

For the benefit of others who happen upon this thread, classifieds, like new member registration, undergo 'live moderation'. Someone, usually me, looks at the ad, or the new account, before it is approved. Sometimes, because I have obligations elsewhere, that approval does not take place immediately, upon submission of the ad or new registration, but can take several hours, or, rarely, the next day.

If anyone has an issue with either, please call it to my attention, either by pm, in the case of an ad, or via email, if a friend of yours is waiting for account approval, to luvvinvinyl@audiokarma.org.

i figured so much but thought i'd reply just in case there was a glitch in the software
