Good Evening, Well I found this little item over the weekend, and to be honest I'm not sure what I've got. It's a Victor Audiola SSL-66MS. It did come with all the original paperwork problem is it is all in Japanese. Everything seems to work even the RTR. If anyone has any idea on the manufacture of the turntable let me know. It looks to be very well built but not sure how to adjust all the little weights on the tonearm assembly. I kinda think it might be a Pioneer but not sure. The speakers seem to also be well built. with internal bracing and deadening materials on the inner walls. Anyway I'll posts some pics so take a look and let me know if it's anything worth keeping.

Sorry, I have no clue, but that's a sexy looking console! Is it "counter height?" Based on the first pic and the size of the tuner (?) on the front, it looks like it could be knee-high.

Mingo, Yes it is a Victor Audiola system that I believe is from late 60's. It does set about knee high and sounds really good. The cartridge for the turntable is Osawa with a OS300MP needle.

JVC - the Victor Company of Japan - formerly a division of the same Victor Corporation that merged with RCA, and had worldwide divisions. Broke away from the parent company before/right around the start of WWII. Turntable was probably made in-house. Cartridge appears to be a rebranded Pickering XV-15.

Really cool looking console! I don't know much about consoles or the quality of the components inside but it looks like it could fit into just about any decor.

Hi, I realize this is an older post. But interestingly I just picked up the same Model a little updated receiver and table but no speakers. Mine was still in a sealed (factory) box and unit will need recapping and am anxious to get it going the belt had turned to goo. as all factory shipping screws intact. Speakers I will use are same vintage and finish Utahs 12 3-Ways and four speaker fuses are on the back of receiver. If anyone can tell me what the item attached that looks like the end of a golfing club iron is I would really appreciate it.
