Weird bass issue

I have an old Toshiba receiver with a strange problem. It was working fine until it wasn't. Now the bass in the right channel is non-existant. I tried different speakers and headphones and it wasn't still there. Any tips on where to start? I don't think it's a dirty pot or switch since it was so sudden but I've been wrong before. I have some time this week so I'd like to get it straightened out.

I had that sort of problem pop up on a Nikko receiver I just went through. Turns out the Loudness switch stuck on in one channel. So seemingly no bass on the other side. A little DeOxit and cycling the switch a few times took care of it. Good luck!

A problem in the loudness switch was my thinking as well. Could also be in the low filter switch if its got one.

Or maybe one of the frequency turnover switches if it has them could he dirty?
I have a SS integrated amp that has one for the bass and treble controls.
