To paraphrase the ad:

"EDIT:............... So if you don't mind buying abused and damaged speakers from an angry emotionally unstable person, why don't you give me a call."

I had a really good paraphrase typed up, but I think it is not in the AK spirit, so I edited before I posted it. Sometimes it is hard being nice.

hehe reminds me of my days in an apartment. The neighbor thought it was a good idea to buy a surround sound system with our paper thin wells...you know the ones where you can here him using the bathroom on the other side...or smelling his wife perfume in your bathroom. Well when he first decided to plug it in I was in the shower...scared the hell out of me...sounded like a harley was in there....I go so sick of hearing/feeling the bass when he decided to play xbox at midnight...I flip the jukebox around...against the wall and push the volume up.....it did shake the photos off his walls :D

I just bought Forte I's. I'm crying real tears at the gross level of negligence going on here. I'm thinking of how I went so far out of my way to get rare special vintage speakers and this emotional idiot ruins a perfectly good pair of REAL VINTAGE KLIPSCH SPEAKS I'd kill for! PITY!

"Since I do not want to cause a riot, I will sell my speakers."
Using that thing called a volume control could have saved the wall, the neighbors, and the speaker's magnet. LOL

they got no phone? hmmm...

edit-probably just doesn't wanna make it public.

I saw that ad yesterday. I'd buy the one if I thought I could find another moron that had a set and just threw one against the wall, but that's pretty unlikely, so I said screw it. Having one, or ending up with three doesn't really do much good.

Even with cost of driver replacement that's one hell of a deal if you don't mind the damage, and the cabinets are structurally intact.

I have a hard time believing that anyone can throw a Chorus II against a wall, period, much less have the wall survive intact.

I have to laugh when i think about some guy picking up his speaker, and throwing it at the wall. Just plain nuts:screwy:....so the next time my wife tells me to turn down my music, i'm gonna pick up my La Scala, and chuck it at her, but wait... i may need some help. :D

I could see where listening to chorus II's at 3am would make a person want to heave them. But as far as actually doing it though; wow that guy must've eaten an extra bowl of wheaties that morning.

"Gut shaking bass"? Uh, that's a pretty flabby gut, from one too many beers, which accounts for the 3:00AM cranking of the speakers...

Yeah I love it.. "The speakers knocked pictures off the wall"

Honest officer, I didn't kill him.. the gun did. .

Nothing like people that accept responsibility... I bet this guy has been in prison.. or if not, soon will be..
