Those are the optional Wharfedale accessory leg set. They were pretty expensive at the time so, suspect very few were ever sold. I have a pair of them under my W70s. When I got my speakers and mentioned them, I had a number of emails from owners wanting them so, suspect today they are very rare considering they are little more than a couple,etc of dowels and little blocks of wood making them up. The little brackets on the back were to be screwed into the backs. Not sure if the holes were drilled attention the factory or not on the cabinets. The holes on mine are there but the stands never screwed in.

The speakers are not that bad looking.

These are a nice variant I haven't seen yet - they look like mine from '64 but with removable grills.
