I have a set of the originals for the W70 and W90 and nothing special except if you want to stay original. For what they are, even when new they were expensive. I do not use them as they do not lift them sufficiently. Only about 4". The set fit all the series variants and even in some ads shown with W60s lying on their side. Quite odd as to the W60s but who knows.

The ones for sale are later, they do not have the screw holes. If he gets that type of money, I think I have found my retirement business; making knockoffs. There is maby $2 in wood, a jigsaw and a little sanding, a dowel and drill, hamme and a couple of small.nail, not even glue. Nothing resembling anything close to complex.
 
One member was looking for the dimentions,guess they were going to make a pair.
I think some fakes would sell,as long as you weren't trying to get crazy money for them.Could even make a taller version.
 
If you purchase walnut wood like the originals, you'll be closer to $30.00 in wood costs at least and not counting the walnut cross dowels (very expensive) and aluminum angle iron pieces counter sunken on the top rear legs. I've bought the wood but can't get the accurate measurements/dimensions to start the build? My question is how are the front and rear legs attached to the braces on either side of the stands? With no screws or dowels showing on the outer sides of the legs, I'm thinking the braces and leg top sides are drilled with 2 glued dowels and angle screwed thru the bottoms of the braces into each leg?? The felt covering the top surfaces doesn't allow any view to identify if a screw is angle drilled from the tops near the leg joints? I have W90 and W70 speakers that I'm building stands for but these are VERY HEAVY and I want to be certain that the leg joints don't move, twist, or fail. Please if anyone has a set of original stands, could you post a photo of the bottom sides with the legs point up to show is the lags are angle screwed to the braces?
