Wharfedale E.Seventy

There's a pair of Wharfedale E.Seventy speakers for sale near me. Seller is asking $100. I'm not fond of the look, but also have never heard of these, so wondering if they are any good. They look "Kabuki" to me.

I wouldn't necessarily say kabuki. They look like they have potential... a little too showy, but I also see some good stuff. For the price, it might be hard to go wrong. I think they are smaller than they appear, though. That looks like a ten inch woofer, if you compare it to the shelves in the pic.
