I just did a Wharfedale Triton recap using PIO caps, but what i did was soldered an extra wire so it can me attached/ soldered to the crossover, ill take picture of it and i’ll
post it so you’ll understand what i mean
Has been an hour now since i started “breaking in” the speaker. The combination of F&T electrolytic and Mundorf polypropylene capacitors for the mid is surprisingly great, vocals are clear and F&T +REC caps for bass is so smooth, nothing really weong with experimentation!!! I’m listening to Filipino folk songs now, Guitars/ violin/ drums/ flute/vocals are so clear!!!
I will recap my KEF concerto next time using combination of electrolytic and polypropylene caps for mids and low.... soooo satisfied or just my ears!!!
