Wharfedale S33 bookshelves- Info?

I grabbed a pair of Wharfedale S33 bookshelf speakers today at a moving sale. They need tlc, but that's half the fun.:thmbsp:
I'm having problems finding info on these, or *any* S series speakers. Can someone fill in the details for me? I'm interested in years, what's in the rest of the lineup, where they were in the entire product range, MSRP, etc.
FYI, this is what's on the rear badge-

The only thing I can find online is a mention from a fellow AKer opt80.

Both Wharfedale and Leak came out with some out of character high efficiency ported models with gaudy trim rings and the like in the late 70s and on. Not as smooth and polite as their normal models, and no real low bass, but dynamic and exciting. They may be better with low powered equipment than their ostensibly better low efficiency stablemates.
