Wharfedale speakers ID?

I ran across some Wharfedale speakers at a pawn shop for $50.00. The cabinets and the cloth are in really good shape. My question is.. I have seen pics of W70 models and these do not have the vertical pieces of wood on the front and the the logo on the speaker shows "Wharfedale 70". The 70 if in a circle at the end of the name. Can anyone give me some direction as to the quality and the performance of these?

I have no idea what they have in them or the condition of the foam surrounds. Does the wharfedales have a removable grill? And is there any thing to be on the look out for?
 
most of those old wharfies use rubber surrounds, so they don't rot. however, the tweeters are notorious for burning out. i'd make sure to give them a listen before buying.
 
These are located in a pawn shop and don't think I will get any pics.. I hate to show to much interest, might go back and the price might be different. How obtainable are new tweets if they are a problem issue?

yes IMHO. Cloth surrounds were on a lot of that vintage Wharfedale. I have W60's and W90's. Love the old Wharfedale stuff. Really nicely built and a nice relaxed and smooth / inviting sound.
 
I've got W70D's and they don't have the original tweets in them right now but they sound really sweet. I like them alot.
