That's a really good price. If the seller listed them on Craigslist, they would probably sell. Ebay local pickup isn't always that great.
 
I'm headed to Denver in 4 weeks or so if I can get the seller to hold them for me...wife would not be thrilled though!!!
 
Very good price.For me I have come to the realization that more than two sets of these large 60s speakers is too much.

I hear ya. I currently have 2 large speaker sets...KEF 107 and Quad 57...and one bookshelf (KEF 103.2). Not sure I can fit any more large speakers! If they're still around while I'm out there, might see if the uncle wants a set. He was interested in my Bozak 305's.
 
The same seller had a pair of the accessory factory stands for these. He sold those for 200+ alone, but those are really nice.

I was tempted, but I mean I have so many large speakers I could build a small home
 
Looks like he has a pair of 846a Valencias also. I'm really tempted as well to give them a try. Not quite sure where to put them. Maybe the bedroom?! :-)
 
He says he'd hold the W90's for me if I buy, until I can come get them...wife says I need to have a buyer lined up before I buy them...basically "flip" them or pony express them to someone in the Midwest...well, if anyone within a few hours of 52030 is interested in the Wharfedale's or some KEF 103.2's (fresh re-cap!) let me know...I can keep one pair, sell the other...

Ooh pony express them to me! I have a dark twisted fantasy about stacked W90's!! Oh wait, I'm in NJ... :(
 
I can't believe these are still available,must be something wrong with them.

I would have to pull the backs and make sure everything is there before buying those suckers.
 
If i remember correctly, i read someone bought some 90's,got them home and ALL of the drivers had been switched out,making them pretty much worthless.

Maybe these are them.:D
If the seller was REALLY serious about selling them,and has nothing to hide.
Pull the freaking backs off of them and take some pics.
It wouldn't guarantee that they work,but you would at least have some kind of clue.
